Where students meet weekly for thirty minutes to learn the basics of music for a total of eighteen hours per year.  We enter the room learning music, utilize every available second learning music, and leave the room learning music.  Boring?  Never!  We run, tiptoe, bend, jump, walk a line, or a space, shout, whisper, sing, sing, sing, and play, play, play.  Check out the rest of the web site to see more!

     Band is the ultimate team sport—everyone plays every day as they learn individual and team music skills, as well as life skills. Students choose a horn in the sixth grade and progress from putting the horn together to reading, writing, and playing complicated compositions.

 

     Parents are always welcome.  Bring your horn and join us, or just come and listen, any time.
