Congratulations to these 26 OCCHS Seniors! Each student received a Union City Rotary Club Scholarship today at the annual banquet. We are thankful for UC Rotary!

ACT "Tree of Excellence"
Pictured above are the students at Obion County Central High School who have achieved a 30 or higher on the ACT. The highest that you can achieve is a 36. OCCHS recognizes the students by having their names engraved on a leaf that is then added onto the "ACT Tree of Excellence" plaque that hangs in Central's main lobby.

Farm Day
Obion County Central High School hosted "Farm Day" on 10/18/21. Farm Day offered Obion County Schools the opportunity to come and learn about many different aspects of agriculture and the agricultural business.

The "Convincer"
Obion County Central High School Drivers' Ed. students were visited by K-9 Officer Willcutt from the Obion County Sheriff's Office. Officer Willcutt spoke about the importance of seatbelt safety and the consequences of choosing not to buckle up. The "Convincer," which mimics the impact of a vehicle crashing at highway speeds, was truly a convincer for students and staff. Sara Beth Key was one of the many to take a ride on the "Convincer".
