Mrs. Bethany

My name is Mrs. Bethany Carter.  I am from Obion County and grew up in South Fulton.  I am married with two boys.  My oldest just started Kindergarten at Black Oak.  I am really excited to see all the smiling faces from last year and meet the new ones coming in!

I am the Project B.A.S.I.C. teacher here at Black Oak.  Project B.A.S.I.C. stands for Better Attitudes and Skills IChildren. Project B.A.S.I.C. is a program that has been in operation since 1985, which seeks to encourage the healthy psychological and social development of children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.  This program is administered by Pathways Behavioral Health Services and funded by a grant from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services.  If uou would like more information about Project B.A.S.I.C. or how your child might benefit from this program, you may contact me at the school by phone or email.
