    Little Artists

Ms. Jennifer’s student teacher, Ms.Emm'ley Box, returned to the kindergarten classroom today with a special request. She asked the students to decorate and sign the dress she will be wearing to her graduation from UTM in May. We think these little artists did a wonderful job.

    SFE HL 3

Sometimes it’s the little things! SFE Jr BETA students reached out to a group of 28 US Marines patrolling our waters and training Marines from other countries. The Marines received personal letters and snacks that put a smile on their homesick faces!

    Top Readers

Every nine weeks, the top readers from each grade get to make their own cookie. With lots of toppings, sprinkles, and icing to choose from, it’s always a BIG hit!

LEAPS (Lottery for Education Afterschool Programs)

Obion County Schools is currently completing an application for the 2020-2021 school year to fund a LEAPs grant for extended learning. The overall goal of the Lottery for Education: Afterschool Programs(LEAPs) is to provide Tennessee students with enrichment opportunities that reinforce and complement the regular academic program.  LEAPs program goals are in alignment with the Tennessee State Department’s Best for All strategic plan specifically supporting the whole child by providing academic and non-academic supports. The LEAPS grant is funded totally with unclaimed lottery money from the Tennessee State Lottery.
